About the Position

​

Our team is looking for a Data Analyst to take ownership of our execution and strategy data lifecycle. Your primary mission is to transform raw market and execution data into actionable insights. You will bridge the gap between strategy development and execution by ensuring critical performance data is accurately captured, structured, and analyzed to improve system efficiency and robustness.

 

How You Will Make an Impact

• Data Pipeline Ownership: Collect, clean, and organize large volumes of market and execution-related data into structured, high-performance Python/Pandas dataframes.

• Execution Analysis: Analyze execution outcomes and system behavior to identify inefficiencies, performance deviations, and optimization opportunities.

• Performance Reporting: Design and maintain dashboards and analytical tools that monitor strategy performance and key risk indicators.

• Collaborative Research: Work closely with researchers and engineers to refine strategy behavior and decision logic based on data-driven insights.

 

What You Bring to the Team

• Python Expert: Deep proficiency in Python, specifically the PyData stack (Pandas, NumPy) for handling large datasets.

• Analytical Rigor: A strong background in mathematics, statistics, or data science with a focus on probabilistic thinking.

• Detail Oriented: An obsession with data integrity - you enjoy the challenge of reconciling messy data into a clean "source of truth".

• Market Curiosity: A genuine interest in financial markets and how trading mechanics work "under the hood".

• Proactive Mindset: The willingness to take full ownership of the data analysis pipeline.

 

We Would Consider as an Advantage

• Domain Agnostic Experience: We value talent over industry background. Whether you’ve analyzed satellite data, physics experiments, or web traffic, we care about your ability to handle high-volume, high-precision data.

• Experience with C# or C++ to better interface with our core trading systems.

• A track record of solving difficult technical challenges, such as participating in competitions/olympiads or building complex personal projects.

 

What Does Not Matter

• Years of experience — mastery takes time, but we don’t put arbitrary numbers on it.

• Your previous industry — finance or trading experience is not required.
